Dodson and Horrell to Sponsor For A 30th Season
THE LONGEST STANDING SUPPORTERS OF RACING, CONTINUES ITS ASSOCIATION INTO THE SEASON AHEAD
Dodson & Horrell is all set to continue its long standing support of British racing. From the grassroots of the sport, backing Point-to-Pointing for 30 years, through to an ongoing partnership with Jockey Club Racing, Dodson & Horrell is truly one of the cornerstones of the racing industry.
The sponsorship with Jockey Club Racing sees Dodson & Horrell continue as an Official Partner for the Randox Health Grand National at Aintree on Saturday 8 April 2017 as well as over 150 other meetings at Kempton Park and Sandown Park.
“The association, with such a well respected and knowledgeable specialist feed manufacturer, is of great benefit to the industry and I am sure we can build an even stronger platform for our partnership in the months ahead,” commented Phil Hardman, Head of Partnerships at Jockey Club Racecourses.
The 2016/2017 Point-to-Point season marks the company's 30th year of involvement, by once again sponsoring the Dodson & Horrell Point-to-Point Owners and Riders Association (PPORA) Club Members Novice Riders Series. This series culminates in a final at Garthorpe races and previous winners have gone on to make names for themselves in the professional National Hunt scene including Sam Twiston-Davies who now has over 450 National Hunt wins to his name. Last year’s winner Jack Jones will be hoping to emulate Sam’s success in the future having just graduated from University.
“Racing is core to our business and we are committed to investing in the future of the sport,” commented Sam Horrell, CEO at Dodson & Horrell. “Alongside our sponsorships, we have expanded our nutritional performance specialist team, most recently appointing Catherine Rudenko as Head of Equine Nutrition and Alice Thomas as Thoroughbred and Performance Nutritionist in the South West. This expanded team will continue to ensure the best possible advice and nutritional support is available to both existing and new clients.”
